The rules for using Acropea — written to be read. The short version: your documents stay yours, check results before you rely on them, and use the service fairly.
These terms apply between you and Cheap Thrills Media AB (org. no. 559262-6278), Ystadsvägen 142, 121 51 Johanneshov, Sweden (“we”, “us”), when you use Acropea — the website, the editor, Acropea Enterprise and our API. By using Acropea you accept these terms. If you use Acropea on behalf of an organisation, you accept them for that organisation.
Acropea lets you edit, convert, translate, mask and export PDF documents, partly with the help of AI. Some features are free, some require an account or a paid plan. We develop the service continuously and may add, change or remove features.
You keep all rights to the documents you upload and the files you create. You give us permission to process them only as needed to provide the service to you — for example to read, edit, export and, when you use AI features, send relevant text to our AI provider. How we handle documents and personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to use the documents you upload, including any personal data in them about other people.
Acropea checks its own edits automatically, but AI and automated processing can make mistakes. Always review the result before you rely on it or send it on — especially for masked (redacted) information, translations, amounts and legal or financial documents. Results are provided to help you, not as professional advice.

We may suspend accounts or block access that breaks these rules.
You sign in with Google. Keep access to your account secure; you are responsible for what is done with it. You can stop using Acropea at any time and ask us to delete your account at christer@cheapthrillsmedia.se.
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. Where a plan includes a volume (such as a number of documents per month), use beyond it is charged at the price shown for the plan and billed at the end of the period. You can cancel at any time; the plan then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices are shown before you buy. We may change prices for coming periods and will tell you before a change applies to you.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the legal rights that apply to you, including your right of withdrawal where it applies. By starting to use a paid plan right away you agree that the service begins immediately.
We work to keep Acropea available and reliable, but we cannot promise that it is always uninterrupted or free of errors. We may pause the service for maintenance. Keep your own copies of important documents — uploaded files are deleted automatically (see the Privacy Policy).
Acropea is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will tell you on the site or by email before it applies; if you continue to use Acropea after that, the new terms apply.
Swedish law applies. We would like to solve any problem directly — contact us first. Disputes are settled by a Swedish general court, with Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as first instance. If you are a consumer, you may also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se), and you always keep the right to bring a case where you live.
